The crown jewel of Torghatten Marathon - 42.195 km of pure adventure.
The full marathon course is the same as the half marathon course (x 2). It starts and finishes at Nordhus Stadium.
The course is run on asphalt in scenic surroundings along the coastline of the Torg Islands. Parts of the course also follow gravel roads around the legendary Torghatten mountain, offering a unique nature experience.
Overall, this is a relatively flat course with gentle undulations.
The start area is approximately 8 meters above sea level, and the highest point on the course is reached after about 12.5 km, at approximately 32 meters above sea level.
The course starts flat/downhill, followed by a 6-meter climb after 200 meters. This is followed by fairly flat terrain for about 11.5 km, then a gradual climb of 27 meters over approximately 1 km to the highest point, before descending and flattening out towards the finish.
